Incubus fans will have seen opening support band BRYNN as a support act in Cape Town. The band will also be launching their album Querencia at Mercury Live in March.

“The album launch is a celebration of a year’s work, sweat, tears, blood, laughter, happiness and growth,” the band tells The Show.
It’s a great bit of timing to launch an album around the same time as an opening gig for Incubus.
“Opening for Incubus is one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) opportunities we have ever been given, so between (that and launching our album) it’s a tie in terms of excitement.”
Can you share some info about the album and its production?
“Recording the album was an amazing experience because we found our identity and sound as a band during the recording process. Everything just came together and a lot of the songs were workshopped a great deal in the studio. The process was pivotal in our growth and development as an act.”
“This particular album recording process was incredibly important and we will always hold it very dear to us because of how much we have grown through it as a band. Loyalty and unity formed as a result of this. Querencia was recorded and mixed by Raiven Hunter at Popsicle Studios and mastered by Vincente Espi at Songololo Music.
